How do I gain initial teacher licensure in the State of Ohio?
After earning your Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology at OSU and completing required undergraduate prerequisite coursework, you must complete further schooling through an approved teacher preparation program. These programs range from graduate programs that include teacher licensure (like those available through OSU’s School of Teaching and Learning) to post-bachelors programs where students do not earn a graduate degree but complete additional undergraduate coursework toward teacher licensure.
