Search for mining companies using: www.whitepages.com.au www.yellowpages.com.au Start phoning a few, or emailing a few with your queries. Maybe ask to be directed to a General Manager. Ask for some contacts as to who you can call to get more information as you are really keen to work for them! Maybe try a website like www.seek.com.au and search for mining companies that are hiring. Get the phone number/email of the person who’s hiring, contact them and explain to them that although you are not applying for the position advertised, would they perhaps have any vacancies for a cleaner? You gotta start somewhere! Just start calling around (don’t be scared!) and eventually you’ll find the right people to talk to!
