How do i get my logitech webcam to work?
Uninstall the webcam software (Start – Control Panel – Add or Remove Programs), unplug the webcam, and start all over again. Don’t plug in the webcam until the software program tells you to do so. Some peripherals (printers, scanners, webcams, USB turntables, etc. won’t work if you plug them in before the software has set itself up. Also, before you do that, try this: don’t turn on the Logitech software to activate the webcam. Instead, open Yahoo! IM, go to the menu bar at the top, and in the Messenger menu, click on My Webcam, and activate it there. Yahoo! IM doesn’t like using the Logitech program. You may have to uncheck the Logitech Webcam program in Windows Configuration, if it starts up every time Windows starts. Go to Start – Run – type msconfig in the space, click on the OK button, go to the Startup tab, and scroll down until you see the Logitech Webcam program.
