How do I install/run as an Administrator in Windows Vista or Windows 7?
Comparative Analysis Software is installed via COMARA_Setup.exe. This file is obtained as a download from MarkIT web site. To install as an Administrator, locate this file through Windows Explorer; right mouse-click on the filename to access the Windows Vista or Windows 7 short-cut menu. Select the option to “Run as administrator”. Once installed, any COMARA™ application can be run as an Administrator through bringing up the Windows Vista or Windows 7 short-cut menu. Position the mouse over the application short-cut. The short-cut to COMARA™ Start-up application is added to the Windows Desktop during installation. All COMARA™ applications are accessible through the Windows Start Menu (All Programs), MarkIT Software – COMARA entry. Once the short-cut is located, a right mouse-click will provide access to the Windows Vista or Windows 7 short-cut menu. The option “Run as administrator” must be selected.
