In the case of RoomMachine 844, RubyTube, Reverb.it, and TapeIt 1, the downloadable file is a compressed archive containing the plugin file, readme and license files, and HTML help files. To extract the files from the archive you need an archive utility. For example, try WinZip or PowerArchiver. Installation of VST plugins is really easy. Just copy the plugin file to the VST plugin folder of your audio application. Make sure your Windows Explorer is configured to show system files since otherwise you wont see the plugin file. In the case of TapeIt 2 and R2, the downloadable file is an executable installer. Just start the downloaded file by double-clicking on it and follow the instructions given by the installer.
