How do I install WiFi Traveler?
WiFi Traveler is now available as soon as you update or install the latest version of World Traveler. In order to access WiFi Traveler, go to applications, open World Traveler and check for updates under ‘options/plug-in manager. Here you will see either a new version of World Traveler to download, or if you have already downloaded the latest version, WiFi Traveler will appear as a separate, downloadable plug-in. Click on this and you will be requested to grant internet access, and upon granting this access World Traveler will be updated. This gets you the free version of WiFi Traveler, and former Connect users can use this in lieu of Connect simply by opening WiFi Traveler in World Traveler, hitting “options” and going to “Connect.” However, in order to take full advantage of WiFi Traveler—i.e. gain access to more than 150,000 WiFi hotspots worldwide—you must pay a monthly subscription fee of EUR 9.95.
