How do I know if I should disenroll or defer enrollment in Medicare Part B?

0

If you’re serving outside the United States for 12 months or more and have adequate insurance coverage (such as the Senior Service Medical Plan), you may choose to disenroll or defer enrollment. However, in some cases it may not be in your best interest to do so. For example, you should not disenroll from Part B if you’re enrolled in a retiree health plan from Deseret Mutual, TRICARE for Life, or any other plan where disenrolling would adversely affect your benefits from the plan. For more information, see the next question.
