How do I “Log-In” to the student machines in the Multimedia Classrooms?
The Multimedia classrooms (Rooms 205, 218, 219, & 220) are on a network and require students to log in to the computers using a username and password. Our techs make sure that all the student computers are logged in and ready for use before and after each class. In the event a student computer is not already logged in (indicated by a blue background and a white box in the middle of the screen), follow these simple steps to get to the Desktop: 1.) Press Ctrl + Alt + Del (simultaneously) on the keyboard to get to the log in screen. 2.) In the white box next to Username, type “student” in lower case letters. 3.) In the white box next to Password, type “student06” in lower case letters. 4.) If you see a section labeled “Log in to” – the white box should say “FCTL”. 5.) Click OK to log into Windows. 6.) The Desktop should appear within 30 seconds.
