How do i make cream from scratch?
It is possible to make a sort of cream by mixing some unsalted butter with milk and blending. I have made some in the past. 100g unsalted butter, for thick cream OR 50 g for pouring cream 100 ml milk Heat the butter and milk to boiling point, but do not let it boil Blend in a liquidiser or processor, or use a hand whisk, until it looks like cream. If you carry on whisking you have whipped cream. Milk from the cow consists of milk, the white part, and cream, the creamy yellow stuff that floats on the top of the milk. The milk and cream are separated, where most of the cream if not all, is removed. Of the milk that is for sale, some still has a little cream, some a little less, and some with no cream. The cream is either sold as cream, or is made into butter.
