How do I make creamy pasta salad?
Here is a simple macaroni salad recipe. Cook elbow macaroni per directions on box. Drain and quickly return to the pot and add 1 cup Zesty Italian salad dressing with 1TBSP salt and 1 tsp pepper. Mix this around and let the macaroni cool. Meanwhile, mix the following: 1 cup grated carrots, 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, and 2 cups mayonaise,1/4 cup cider vinegar, 2 tsp sugar, 2 hard cooked eggs chopped small and 1 TBSP mustard. Mix together thoroughly and add to macaroni. Ive had this recipe with a can of tuna and some frozen peas added or a package of salad shrimp. There are endless variations……enjoy!
