How do I operate AlertBox?
To send a warning to your neighbours, just press the orange button. All other AlertBoxes operating within range will sound an “alert” signal and display your name, address and phone number. Optionally, you may then press a button to indicate the nature of the alert, choosing one of three simple options on the screen. Options for home users are – Suspicious person, Caller or Troublemaker. Options for business users are – Nuisance, Gang and Theft. The chosen option will appear on recipients’ screens. Note that your warning message will be transmitted whether or not you select one of these options. To send a request for help to your neighbours, just press the red button.
