How do I prepare resin castings for assembly and display?

A. Examine castings for excess resin -especially in window areas on building kits. Carefully remove flash or excess material with a sharp razor knife or file or fine grit sand paper. Remember that resin is very brittle and actually cuts easily! After handling, wash with soapy water to remove finger oils and/or mold release agents, rinse and dry. Remember that gluing a painted surface does not create a very strong bond between parts; sand away any paint.
