How do I prevent the Zone Labs ZoneAlarm ProTM firewall from blocking the software?
• Open ZoneAlarm ProTM by clicking the Start button → All Programs → Zone Labs → Zone Labs Security. • When the software loads, click the Program Control button on the left. • If the software is already on the Programs list, skip the next step. • To add the software to the Programs list, click the Add button and browse for the program’s executable file (ends in .exe). Typically, this file is found in the software’s main program folder which is usually found in C:\Program Files. • Click the Trust level for the software and choose Trusted from the list. • Click the setting for trusted Access and choose Allow from the list. • Repeat the previous step for Internet Access, trusted Server, and internet Server. • Close ZoneAlarm ProTM. Note: The instructions above were designed for Zone Labs ZoneAlarm Pro 6TM and Microsoft Windows XPTM Service Pack 2.
