How do I read the date code on WHISKAS® Food For Cats?
Answer We currently have a Best Before date on our packaging that reads “Best Before MM/YYYY”. For example, a date code that reads “Best Before 05/2007” is best if used by the end of May, 2007. Prior to the Best Before date coding, the manufacturing code was used to determine the best before date. The first six digits provide the best before date which is printed as DDMMYY. For instance, a code that begins with 260507 has a best before date of May 26, 2007.
