How do I send an anonymous email to my local police station ?

Look for “anonymous remailers” on Google. They’re a bit hard to find, but there should be a few around. Another method would be to get a laptop with an 802.11g wireless card, and use somebody else’s Internet connection (a lot of libraries, cafes, and McDonalds restaurants offer free and unsecured WI-FI Internet access). Use their Internet connection to sign up for a new Yahoo email account, and then use that to send your email. There’s no need to send an anonymous email, you just need to go to the police station or call, and report your suspicion. Police agencies do not reveal your identity everything is confidential. Or if you feel more comfortable with the email just make a fake email account and send the email from your local library. But, I would rather report that myself since everything is confidential.

Sending and anonymous email would be a huge waste of time and effort on your part. You would need to call the police non-emergency number and ask to speak to an officer. You can then explain your issues to the officer. Sending an email, especially one that is “anonymous” would be deleted with no follow through, as there is no way to validify the claims made in the email. Plus, if you are the victim, there is no reason to hide from the police.

You could goto your local library , create a email account send them a email. They might track where the email originated from so dont check that account at home.

E-mail is not an anonymous thing. Your mail can be traced back to you if one wishes to do so. You can send the e-mail, and ask that the police do not reveal that it was you who made the report.
