On the Message Settings tab of the main setup window, the Email Sender Account information needs to be setup before email can be sent via the Web Notifier software. This is the originating “from” email account Web Notifier will use to send email for the messages you configured to send email via the individual watcher setup. You will need to apply the same email settings you would use to get your email from a mail server or ISP. These settings include the email address, user id, password, and SMTP server name. Once the email is setup, you can send emails to the email addresses specified in the Send To Email Address field of the watcher setup process. The “from” account in the email message will be the account that was setup from the previous paragraph. In order to send text messages, simply enter your phone number email address in the Send To Email Address field.
