How do I steer the twins (particularly the Vimy) on the ground?

0

It is difficult to steer the Vimy on the ground because it has a relatively small rudder, no tail wheel, and the airflow from the engines doesn’t flow directly over the rudder surfaces. So here’s the trick to steering this airplane on the ground — use the differential power on the engine control levers. Press shift+4 to display this device. You’ll notice that the larger lever in the middle is labelled with port and starboard. Once the airplane is moving forward, you can grab the lever with the mouse and it will twist in the direction that you want to turn the airplane.
