How do i stop a trojan horse installing a keystroke logging program on my PC?
There is no easy way to prevent keylogging software being installed on your PC, as it is usually done by a method of stealth. The best strategy is to use the common sense and a combination of several methods, including observing the programs which are installed, being aware of devices connected to USB ports, and enabling firewalls. If you are using a home PC, then it is likely to be free on any keystroke logging hardware (but remeber there may be keystroke logging software), but on public PCs, it is advised that you are a little more careful. Try and avoid typing private details on public PCs, and always try and avoid visitng sites on public PCs that require you to enter your login details, e.g. An online banking account.
