How do I Sync a Wii Remote?
You can either sync the remote in standard mode or one time mode. Standard mode will forever sync the remote with the console. One Time Mode will sync the remote with the console temporarily – useful for Wii parties. For Standard mode, turn on the console, open the SD card door, and press and release the SYNC button. Remove the remotes battery cover, and press and release the SYNC button just under the batteries. Now, the lights on the remote will flash.
