How do i tame my guinea pig
I have had guinea pigs for 30 years and there is a tried and true way to tame and calm your guinea pig. Take a towel and fold it in half making a square. Place him on the towel and wrap him as though were a baby. Lie down and place him on your heart as both the sound and feel of your heart are comforting for him. Make eye contact with him and pet the towel thus petting him through the towel. He should be comfortable here for about 20 minutes at which point he well start to wiggle about, he is telling you he needs to potty so put him back into the cage for a few minutes and start all over again. Set him in your lap as you are on the computer. Lie him on your chest as you are watching TV, listening to music as guinea pigs love good music. In about 2 weeks you should have a guinea pig that is happy and excited to she you when you get home. You will no longer need the towel however there are some guinea pigs that just love to be in the towel as it is mocking climbing in and out of the gras
