How do I tell LogConv what type of file I am converting?
You don’t have to. LogConv uses both the suffix of the filename and the actual contents of the file to determine in what format the input file is. Note however, that just because a file you wish to convert has the same suffix as a supported log format does not mean that LogConv will know how to convert it.
