How do I transcribe a special character (accented character, etc.) shown in the Index but which is not included in the WinBMD Special Characters list?

If a character is not included in the WinBMD Special Characters list it cannot be used in a transcription and you should use the unaccented character instead. Only characters that are part of the character set ISO8859-1 are valid. Using characters from the Windows Character Map won’t work.
