How do I transfer an audiobook file to a mobile player or burn to a CD?
The OverDrive collection does include some titles that are prohibited from being burned to CDs. If a title can be burned to CD, you will see the “Burn to CD” icon on the search results page in Library2Go. Note that a typical item may be 10 parts or more, and each part equals one CD. To transfer your title or burn to a CD, open the OverDrive Media Console and click on ‘Transfer/Burn’. This opens Windows Media Player, where you can either burn a CD or transfer to a supported mobile player (Windows and Macintosh accepted) or eBook Reader. To see if your device is compatible with OverDrive titles, check the list of compatible devices OverDrive has created. Look for your device on this page and check the icons next to it to see which formats are compatible with your device.
