Finale makes this extremely over complicated. The easiest thing you can do is open a new document with tenor sax, and then copy paste your old flute part into the new document. Finale will automatically transpose the part for you, but sometimes this method causes octave jumps which you will need to adjust. If you’re working with a score of more than one or two instruments, this is not really an option. My best advice would be to add a new instrument as tenor sax, and copy paste the flute part down into the tenor sax line, then delete the flute part. If you absolutely have to transpose what you already have, though here are some instructions. 1. Click the Staff Tool, which looks like a treble clef and can be found in the upper left corner of the tool bar, and double-click the staff handle to be transposed.
