How do I use ChatZilla with a proxy?
ChatZilla will work automatically with most proxy configurations, as it runs with your browser’s networking configuration. However, you can override this using the Proxy Type setting, found in ChatZilla’s Preferences window, on the General tab, in the Connection group. It exists both for Global Settings and for each network. There are three settings you can use for Proxy Type: • empty (default): ChatZilla will use the browser’s SOCKS proxy, if there is one configured, otherwise it will use direct connections. • http: ChatZilla will use the browser’s HTTP proxy. • none: ChatZilla will use direct connections.
