How do i use my new VoIP adapter with my existing telephone number?
You can connect your VoIP adapter to your standard telephone line using the “line” port on the side of the adapter. When this is connected to your telephone socket or micro-filter you will also be able to receive calls on your existing telephone number. To make an outgoing call on your existing telephone line simply dial *00 before making your call. What is 3-way calling? 3-way calling is where you can configure 3 extensions to ring at the same time when calling 1 incoming number. You must have more than 1 extension registered with Northway VoIP to be able to use this service and request to have this feature enabled. Once enabled you will be able to select which Northway VoIP account you require.
