How do physicians use Onko-Sure™ for monitoring CRC?

Suggested Physician Guidance For Monitoring CRC with Onko-Sure™: Initial reading is used to establish a patient-specific baseline Onko-Sure™ reading*. If the initial reading is greater than 5 mg/ml and the patient has hypertension, then assess for MI or DIC. Second reading must be used in conjunction with the first reading and converted to percentage change relative to the previous (baseline) reading. If the percentage change (see formula below) is greater than 15% because the second value is greater than 15% of the baseline reading, the Onko-Sure™ test is significant for cancer progression. Follow-up with further assessment for source (e.g., imaging/biopsy). Percentage change = [(V1 – V0)/V0]*100; when Vo = baseline Onko-Sure™ or immediately previous value and V1 = second or current Onko-Sure™ value. For subsequent Onko-Sure™ readings, compare the current reading to the immediate previous reading. Calculate/evaluate the percentage change as before.
