How do RWE data differ from EEX data?
EEX publishes data on installed power plant capacity, the likely availability of this capacity starting on the following day (taking account of any outages on the previous day) and data on the previous day’s actual power generation, each aggregated by fuel type. RWE is going beyond this. The most important difference: RWE is publishing online the electricity fed into the public grid from its own power plant locations. Previously, such data were only available from service agencies for a charge, and not at all from EEX. In addition to the installed power plant capacity, RWE publishes for its own stations all zero-capacity and capacity-reduction figures no later than one hour after an event has occurred, with a precise breakdown by plant unit, stating the likely duration. Minor reductions in capacity (less than 100 MW) are shown as totals. RWE additionally publishes any scheduled outages for the various power plant units whenever they are inspected and overhauled. Also, RWE updates every
