How do waivers as inverse of league standings work?
Waivers as inverse of league standings affect the waiver priorities once the season begins only. Prior to the beginning of the season, regardless of what this is set to, waiver priorities will behave exactly the same way. They will be initialized as the inverse of the first round draft order (or the inverse of the average player rank for Import Leagues). As pre-season waiver claims are made managers are moved to the bottom of the waiver priority list each time they win a claim. Once the season starts, though, the above setting will kick in. If set to “Yes”, each morning the waiver priorities will be set as the inverse of the league standings as of the previous night’s scoring. So, for instance, assume that after last night’s scores you were in first place. When tonight’s waiver claims are processed by the system, you will have the lowest waiver priority.
