Fine location is not always available, but coarse location is more frequently available. The only conditions in which coarse location is not available is when the device is switched off, or roaming. When submitting the API request for terminal location, the “Acceptable Accuracy” can be set to the maximum permitted value of 65536m, to ensure that the network returns whatever coarse location information is currently available for the device.
