Hover buttons change color or make sounds when the mouse rests over them. These instructions work for FrontPage 2000. Start the FrontPage program and open an existing web. Open the page to be edited and position the cursor where the button will appear. Open the Insert menu and select Active Elements. Choose Hover Button and click OK. Enter the appropriate information (button text, where the button links to, colors, and so on; see the Tips below for help) in the Hover Button dialog box. Click OK. Save the page when finished. Preview the page in a Web browser by choosing Preview in Browser from the File menu. From the dialog box, choose the desired browser and settings. Test the button thoroughly before uploading it to your site.
