The signs of fall in New York: leaves are turning, the air is cool and crisp, school is back in session… and New York Giants football has started another season. If you’re a football fan, chances are this is your favorite time of year. If you’re not already and want to be a full-fledged New York Giants fan, then follow these few steps to become a true Big Blue follower. Know the season schedule for the New York Giants. Professional football is played on Sundays, Monday nights and in some cases, Thursday nights. Plan around the games so you can be home to watch, or videotape them and watch them later. Memorize players’ names and jersey numbers. Be able to recite the entire team roster. Follow off-season acquisitions and trades. Study team and individual statistics from year to year.
