How Do You Build A Goldfish Dinner Bell?

• Straighten a wire clothes hanger (or 24″ length of 12-gauge, or heavier, copper electrical wire). • Bend an “S” in the middle of the wire just big enough for one loop to fit the lip on your fish tank. • Cut off one end of the wire a bit shorter the depth of the fish tank (this is the bottom half). • Bend a small loop in each end of the wire. • Attach a weight to the bottom loop and close the loop. • Attach a jingle bell to the top loop and close the loop. • Hang the completed device weight-down in the corner of the fish tank where you usually feed the fish. Adjust the top and bottom wires so that when fish bump into the lower, weighted wire, the bell jingles at the top of the upper wire.
