How Do You Build A Hibachi Grill?
The hibachi grill has China as its country of origin. According to Spiritus-Temporis.com, hibachi grilling became a popular method of cooking in Japan, who gave it its name: “hi” or fire, and “bachi” or bowl. Originally, a hibachi resembled a small fireplace. It is more recently that it became the small, portable grill we are familiar with today. The Japanese use hibachi to cook vegetables and meat that is sliced thinly and marinated. The hibachi’s popularity has grown to the point where we don’t have to travel to Japan to find them, but just go down to your local building supply store, or you can save yourself some money and build one yourself. Lay four of the fire bricks on the ground so they form a rectangle. Add one more fire brick to each of those on the ground.
