How Do You Build Car Speaker Boxes?
Car speaker boxes prevent speakers from rolling around or hanging by their wires. Speaker boxes will also protect speakers from loosening their wires and damaging their sound. In order to make your own speaker box, be prepared to invest at least 5 hours, though it is a relatively easy task. Determine how big the box will need to be. Make sure the speaker will be able to fit in the box and make sure that the box would be able to fit into the trunk or door of the car. Cut the box for the speaker with a table saw, with the wood pieces cut to measurements taken in Step 1. Set height of the blades to the saw by having the tips of the blade meet halfway up to the board. Cut two pieces for the sides that will be smaller or the same size as the top and bottom, depending on the size of the speaker. Measure the front of the speaker.
