How Do You Change A Text Cursor?
Cursors do more than show where a mouse is positioned on a computer screen. They also indicate the type of content presented in the program. A mouse pointer can be used to launch a program, for example, but the cursor changes when the mouse is positioned over text. The mouse text cursor typically resembles a capital “I” letter, but this is easily customized. All the different mouse cursor modes can be changed to any of a wide variety of cursor objects included in the operating system. In addition to offering a new personality to the computing experience, a different cursor can assist users with visual impairments. Click the “Start” button on the Windows taskbar and select the “Control Panel.” Inside this area is the “Mouse” option, which controls most aspects of mouse behavior.
