How Do You Clean A Black Chrome Toaster?

These appliances need cleaning just as much as your stove, oven, or microwave. Black chrome is a type of chrome plating in which a series of finishes result in a black coloration. Chrome needs to be cleaned very carefully and precisely so as to not harm the finish. Unplug and cool the toaster before cleaning. Mix the white vinegar and warm water in a bowl. Drop the soft cloth into the solution. Open the hatch on the bottom of the toaster over a trash can and dump out all the crumbs. Take the hatch out and clean it thoroughly in soapy water, as long as it is not black chrome. If it is, proceed to the next step. Wring most of the white vinegar solution out of the cloth. Wipe down the toaster with the cloth. Sweep off any crumbs that remain on the top of the toaster with the dry, soft bristled brush Allow to dry. Re-attach the hatch.
