How Do You Clean A Cloudy Pool?
Pool water becomes cloudy due to inadequate cleaning and limited usage that causes the water to become stagnant. Failure to maintain a pool creates a variety of problems that ultimately make the pool water polluted and cloudy. Follow these steps to clean and maintain the water in your pool. Diagnose the problem that is causing the pool water to become cloudy. If covered, remove the pool cover. Expose the pool to sunlight as it is a natural sanitizer and helps kill germs and avoid algae build up. Run the filter for a few hours or and clean any debris floating on the surface of the water with a mesh pole. Remove algae growth from the base of the pool with a pool vacuum. Test the PH of the pool water. A high PH increases acidity and causes the water to become hard. It also promotes cloudiness and bacterial growth in the pool.
