How Do You Clean An Essential Oil Diffuser?
Essential oil diffusers break essential oils down into separate molecules before dispersing them throughout the room. These devices generally consist of a plastic base holding the motor and a glass tube that contains and disperses the oils. In order to prevent oil buildup that can cause a clogged diffuser and interfere with its functioning; you should clean the diffuser every few weeks or prior to changing essential oils. While the process might seem daunting at first due to the delicate nature of the glass tube, cleaning and maintaining an essential oil diffuser is not a difficult task. Add ½ ounce of rubbing alcohol to your diffuser. Rubbing alcohol safely removes sticky oils from every bit of the curvy and intricate glass decanter. Run the diffuser for 3 to 5 minutes, allowing the alcohol to disperse throughout the room. This will help the alcohol clean all of the parts of your diffuser unit.
