How Do You Clean Lysol From A Computer Keyboard?
Lysol is a common household product that is composed of several active ingredients including ethanol alcohol, alkyl dimethylbenzylammonium chloride and carbon dioxide. While Lysol is a multipurpose household cleaner that may be used on many types of surfaces, it is not meant to be used to computer keyboards. Cleaning keyboards with Lysol will result in slippery keys and possible hazardous eye contact if the keyboard user rubs her face after using the keyboard. Turn off the computer or disconnect the keyboard from the computer so that there is no risk of electrical shock while the keyboard is being cleaned. Clean the keyboard with the alcohol wipes, making sure to run the alcohol wipes in between and around the edges of each key. Let the keyboard dry for two minutes. Finish removing any excess Lysol by dabbing cotton balls gently across the keyboard. Dispose of the cotton ball when it becomes moist, using as many cotton balls as necessary until you can no longer feel the leftover Lysol
