How Do You Clean Schwinn Bicycles?
In order to keep a Schwinn bicycle looking and functioning its best, you should clean it regularly (frequency depends largely on how often you use the bike and where). Cleaning this brand of bicycle is fairly simple, just as it is with any other brand of bicycle. You don’t need special tools or special cleaners and generally you don’t need to take any parts off to clean them. What you do need is a warm and sunny day, preferably, and at least half an hour of free time. Spray the tires well with a water hose. Get as much dirt off them as you can–this way dirt from the tires won’t quickly get on the rest of the bicycle after you clean it. Prop the bicycle up against a fence, building or outdoor wall. You’ll want it to be stable as you clean–the kickstand won’t be sufficient for this. Alternatively you can turn it upside down, as if you were going to do maintenance on it.
