How Do You Clear Eyes Without Eye Drops?
Sometimes, it is preferable not to use eye drops when trying to clean something out of your eye. There are many reasons you may need to clean your eye, and some may require a chemical eyewash or medical attention. However, in many cases, if something is in your eye, plain water can be used to get it out. Debris and other matter in the eye can cause irritation and damage to the eye. Clean water or saline solution made for eye washing is usually the best and safest way to remove debris from your eyes. Wear safety goggles if your eyes are under threat of debris or chemicals. Even fumes can cause irritation to the eye and chemical burns. If you have an eye injury or severe eye irritation, you should seek medical attention immediately. Debris and irritants can cause permanent damage to the eye if left untreated or not cared for properly. Get a soft, clean washcloth and soak it in warm water. Put it over the affected eye or eyes, and allow it to remain there long enough to soften the crust.
