• Insert batteries into the Wii Remote, and power up the Wii. • Open the slot on the front of the Wii. Remove the battery cover on the Wii Remote that you want to sync. Location of the sync buttons. • Press the SYNC button on the back of the Wii Remote; quickly press and release the SYNC button on the Wii console. When the light on the front of the Wii Remote stops flashing, Wii and Remote are now connected.
