How Do You Construct A Precast Concrete Retaining Wall?
• Clear back earth to uncover required area. • Lay and compact hardcore. • Lay blinding layer and compact – needs to create a firm layer with load bearing capacity. • Lay a concrete slab approximately 200mm thick (thickness will depend on the job). • Install and shim concrete retaining walls to ensure all level. • Drill down through fixings holes into slab. • Fix down units with M20 bolts and nuts. Backfill earth!
