How Do You Cope With Being On A School Bus With Younger Kids?

• Talk to the kids your age on your bus. They probably are just as annoyed as you, and doing something will help you tune out the little kids. • Talk to the bus driver. He or she can probably get the kids to be quiet and calm. • Separate yourself from them as much as possible. Sit all the way in the back in the bus (as the little kids usually sit in the front for safety reasons). • Reason with the little kids. Tell them to bring a handheld video game or to do homework on the bus. Bring an iPod/MP3 player. Stock it with a lot of songs you like. This should effectively make you stop hearing the little kids.
