How Do You Delete Computer Cookies & History?
Every time you surf the Internet the history of the visited websites and your personal settings, such as login details, are stored in your browser’s memory. You can see all of the past URLs if you click the address bar. Cookies are small text files that save all of the personal preference information so that you don’t have to waste time when you visit the website again. If you work on a public computer, anyone can see what sites you have been to and get your personal login information. It’s a good practice to delete these items once you are done browsing. Open the browser and click the “Tools” menu option. Select “Internet Options” and click “Delete” under “Browsing History.” Check the “History” and “Cookies” options and click “Delete.” Also, click the “Delete history” and “Delete cookies” buttons.
