Google is a simple well-designed and very easy to use search engine. But, a few simple guidelines can improve your results dramatically. You can limit your responses and add to the basic information. For example, search for “gothic ornaments.” To hone in on better information you can use the minus (-) sign to remove entries which are not of interest to you. For example, “-Christmas tree.” That simple move reduces the results. You may then see other phrases or words to remove to further reduce that number. You may also choose to add something to the search string. That is the simple addition of a word or phrase with the plus (+) sign.
