How Do You Disable Internet Explorer Options?
If you are a computer administrator and you want to limit users’ access and change in Internet Explorer, you can edit the Windows registry to disable Internet Options. Doing so will hide Internet Options from the “Tools” menu in IE, effectively blocking users from changing settings in their web browser. Click “Start” and click “Run” in Windows XP. Type “regedit” into the “Run” dialog and click “OK.” In Windows Vista or Windows 7, click “Start,” type “regedit” into the “Search” box at the bottom of the menu. Press “Enter.” Click “Yes” if prompted by the “User Account Control.” The “Registry Editor” window opens.
