How Do You Easily Decorate An Egg Box?
You can decorate an empty egg box with just a few basic art supplies. Empty egg cartons often go straight into the trash when the last egg is used. Decorating an old egg box gives the item a personalized touch while making it useful for another task in the home. Give a discarded egg carton a second life as a work of functioning art by adding custom decorations to the inside and outside of the box. Clean the inside of the egg box to remove any bits of shell, feathers or other debris that are stuck to the carton. Carefully tear away a thin top layer from the cardboard egg box to remove dried-on egg whites. Cover the work surface with an open newspaper before opening the paints and setting down the cleaned egg carton. Open the egg box so the inside can be painted first.
