It will be easier to remove the candle wax once it is cool and hard. Scrape off as much candle wax from the carpet surface as you can by using a butter knife. Vacuum up the candle wax shavings. Place a paper towel on top of the candle wax stain on the carpet. Place a hot clothing iron on the paper towel over the candle wax for five seconds. Lift the iron and observe where the candle wax has been drawn out of the carpet and soaked into the paper towel.
